Fire burns about 5 acres of Maui's Polipoli State Park

KULA, Maui — A forest fire has burned about 5 acres in Polipoli State Park above Kula.The fire was reported at 1:15 p.m. yesterday. County firefighters, state forestry personnel, county and private bulldozers and water tankers, and helicopters have been called in to battle the blaze.
Officials said no structures are threatened.
