Sumie paintings go on view at Honolulu Hale in April

A collection of sumie paintings by members of the Sumie Society of Hawaii will be on display in the courtyard of Honolulu Hale.The free April 3 to 12 exhibition features the traditional and classic Japanese art of brush painting. Viewing is 8 am. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
