Rainbows ranked No. 5 in preseason water polo poll

The University of Hawai'i women are ranked fifth in the preseason Collegiate Women's Varsity Water Polo poll released on Wednesday.Southern California is ranked No. 1, followed by UCLA, Stanford and California.
UH was 18-12 last season (7-5 in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation) and finished fourth in the NCAA tournament.
The Rainbow Wahine open their season Feb. 1 at San Jose State.
