Cold fronts, rain headed toward Hawai'i

Get your outdoor fun in before Sunday if you plan on taking advantage of light rains and sunny skies.

The National Weather Service said two rainy cold fronts are headed toward Hawai'i, the first arriving Sunday accompanied by strong southwest winds.

Today: Mostly cloudy with scattered showers, highs 71 to 78, east winds around 10 mph in the morning becoming light and a 40 percent chance of rain.

Tonight: Mostly clear, lows 56 to 65 and light winds.

Tomorrow: Mostly sunny with scattered showers, highs 72 to 79, light winds, 40 percent chance of rain.

Tomorrow night: Mostly cloudy with scattered showers, lows 56 to 64, light winds, 50 percent chance of rain.

Friday: Mostly sunny with scattered showers, highs 72 to 79, east winds 10 to 15 mph, 40 percent chance of rain.

Friday night: Partly cloudy with scattered showers, lows 56 to 65, east winds around 10 mph, 40 percent chance of rain.

Saturday: Mostly sunny with scattered showers, highs 71 to 78, southeast winds up to 10 mph, 40 percent chance of rain.

Saturday night: Partly cloudy with scattered showers, lows 55 to 64, southwest winds 10 to 15 mph, 30 percent chance of rain.

Sunday: Mostly cloudy with showers likely, highs 70 to 77, west winds around 10 mph, chance of rain 70 percent.

Sunday night: Mostly cloudy with scattered showers, lows 52 to 61, west winds around 10 mph, chance of rain 50 percent.
