Boy, 9, hit by car in Makiki area in serious condition

A 9-year-old boy was taken to Kapiolani Medical Center in serious condition after being struck by a car at about 7:43 this morning near the intersection of Pensacola Street and Wilder Avenue in Makiki, officials said.No additional information is available at this time.
