Woman booked for assault after punching officer

A 52-year-old woman with no permanent address was arrested yesterday for allegedly punching a police officer in the face.The officer had responded to a trespass complaint in Waikiki and saw the woman walking away from the scene.
The officer was allegedly assaulted at Ala Wai and Paoakalani Avenue at 7:50 a.m. while attemping to serve the woman with a temporary restraining order.
The woman was booked for assault on a police officer.
