Hawai'i coffee output expected to fall 11% this season

Hawai'i coffee production is expected to fall 11 percent to 7.3 million pounds in the current 2006-07 season, according to a recent estimate released by the National Agricultural Statistics Service. Farm prices are projected to fall 9 percent to an average of $4.15 a pound. Farm sales of coffee during the current season are expected to fall 19 percent to $30.3.
