Hawai'i-based destroyers to assist in Bush's Iraq plan

Two Pearl Harbor-based guided missile destroyers will deploy tomorrow to support President Bush's new military strategy in Iraq.

The USS O'Kane and USS Paul Hamilton are part of the strike group for the aircraft carrier USS Stennis, which is being sent to the Persian Gulf to bolster security in the region.

Bush announced this as part of his troop increases in Iraq.
