NFL, HHSAA hold junior development football clinic

The National Football League and the Hawaii High School Athletic Association are hosting the Junior Player Development clinic, designed to teach skills at various football positions.

The JPD program is for boys and girls age 12 to 14, at Aiea High School, Feb. 5 to 9. Participants receive instruction from local high school coaches selected by the NFL.

The clinic runs from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. each day.

Participants are required to complete a waiver and medical form. Forms are available on the HHSAA Web site at www.sportshigh.com, and at the Aiea High School main office.  Completed forms must be received by Aiea High School by Feb. 2.

Equipment will be issued to participants Feb. 3, beginning at 9 a.m.
