UH president testifying in support of advisory council

University of Hawaii President David McClain will testify before the state Senate Committee on Education today at 1:15 p.m.McClain is supporting the creation of an advisory council appointed by the governor to screen and propose candidates for appointment to the UH Board of Regents.
The tesitmony will take place at the State Capitol, Room 225.
