Couples are notified of gifts bought from their registry by email and (optionally) also via text messages sent to their cell phones.

Normally, a 9% service charge is deducted from the gifts bought, but couples who book at least $2000 have their service charge reduced to 3.5%, and couples who book $3500 or more pay no service fee at all.
