Helicopter to assist with Hawai'i Kai utility pole work

Hawaiian Electric Company, Inc. next week will be conducting work on a utility pole in Hawai'i Kai on a hillside behind the Hawai'i Kai Retirement Center. A helicopter will be used to fly equipment and materials to the site and to assist in the installation.The work is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
To comply with Federal Aviation Administration regulations, HECO will not fly over residential areas while carrying loads.
