Ishii shoots 70, ties for 12th at Turtle Bay event

Honolulu's David Ishii shot a 2-under-par 70 Saturday and is tied for 12th place after two rounds of the Turtle Bay Championship at the Palmer Course at Turtle Bay.Ishii birdied three of the first five holes and made the turn at 3-under 33. He bogeyed the 10th and parred his final eight holes of the day.
Ishii's two-round total is 6-under 138.
He trails leader Fred Funk, who shot an 8-under 64 Saturday and is at 15-under 129.
