'SUE THOMAS' VISITING ISLAND

The deaf woman whose story is featured in the PAX-TV series, "Sue Thomas, F.B.Eye," is making the rounds in O'ahu, appearing at various churches. Besides taping an interview with Wayne Cordiero, pastor of New Hope Christian Fellowship, she'll be at the Kaneohe Church of the Nazarene with her service dog, Katie, at 6 p.m. Wednesday. And she'll be at University Avenue Baptist Church at 10 a.m. Feb. 3, with potluck to follow.

Thomas went from profound deafness at age 18 months to becoming an FBI agent. Her story was the basis of the PAX channel's drama series starring Billy Ray Cyrus.
