Weather may take blustery turn later today
Advertiser Staff
A weather system to the north of the state will keep the big waves rolling up on Hawai'i shores for most of the week, according to the National Weather Service.
Kona winds and unsettled weather will dominate most of the week as well, forecasters said.
A weather front that had been hovering over Kaua'i is expected to move toward the southeast and stall today, bringing clouds and showers from Kaua'i to Maui.
At least two more fronts are expected to pass through this week, bringing locally strong kona winds and more showers with them.
A series of deep low-pressure systems northwest of the state will keep the big waves rolling in on north- and west-facing shores.
