No charges for now for McCully slaying

Advertiser Staff

A 32-year-old man arrested in connection with a McCully homicide has been charged on drug offenses and outstanding warrants. But the man has not been charged — pending further investigation — in the strangulation death of 58-year-old Ted Arifuku.

Arifuku's body was found Jan. 15 in his McCully apartment.

The man is being held in lieu of $30,000 for promotion of dangerous drug and possession of drug paraphernalia, in addition to warrants totalling $1,050.
