A celebration of life for former Honolulu resident William R. Sewell will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Magic Island.

The retired builder, developer, Realtor and home inspector died Jan. 2 in California.

He was 80.

Sewell was born in Pecos, Texas.

He is survived by wife, Bettye, of Danville; sons, William S. and Scott R.; daughter, Michele E. Harris; sister, Mary Frances Alexander; and three granddaughters.

Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Kline Welsh Behavioral Health Foundation or Rotary International.
