Taco Del Mar opens today in Moanalua Shopping Center

Taco Del Mar, known for its 24-ounce "mondo burritos," tacos and enchiladas, is having its grand opening today at the new Moanalua Shopping Center next door to the NEX.The popular quick-casual Mexican restaurant, which bills itself as the fresh, fast and fun alternative to traditional Mexican food, will also do catering and offers some healthy alternatives such as spinach or wheat tortillas.
Waipio Taco Del Mar (next to Costco) will open in late March in the Laniakea Shopping Center.
The restaurants are operated by Baja Hawaii LLC. James Butler, a former operations director for Starbucks in Hawai'i, is the president.
