Keep carrying that umbrella — at least till Thursday

A weakening weather front is near Kaua'i Tuesday morning and another stronger cold front will approach Kaua'i later Wednesday night, according to the National Weather Service.

The two fronts will result in moderate southwest winds and unsettled weather with periods of showers to continue across most of the state from today through Thursday, forecasters said.

Here's a closer look at what's on tap for O'ahu the next several days:

  • Today — Partly sunny with scattered showers. Breezy. Highs 75 to 83. Southwest winds 15 mph to 25 mph. Chance of rain: 50 percent.

  • Tonight — Partly cloudy with isolated showers. Lows 65 to 73. South winds 15 mph to 20 mph. Chance of rain: 20 percent.

  • Wednesday — Mostly sunny with scattered showers. Highs 76 to 83. Southwest winds 15 mph to 20 mph. Chance of rain: 50 percent.

  • Wednesday night — Mostly cloudy with scattered showers. Lows 66 to 73. Southwest winds 15 mph to 20 mph. Chance of rain: 50 percent.

  • Thursday — Partly sunny with scattered showers. Highs 73 to 81. Southwest winds 15 mph to 20 mph. Chance of rain: 50 percent.

  • Thursday night — Mostly cloudy with scattered showers. Lows 60 to 67. Northwest winds 15 mph to 20 mph. Chance of rain: 40 percent.
