Kalihi man arrested in sexual assault case

A 48-year-old Kalihi man was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of 12 counts of first-degree sexual assault and 12 counts of third-degree sexual assault.Police said the complaint was filed on behalf of a girl in her teens who reported being assaulted by a family member first in 1999 while she was still in elementary school.
The girl reported that the assaults continued until Friday, police said.
Teen arrested in domestic assault incident
A 19-year-old 'Ewa Beach man was arrested Tuesday after he allegedly assaulted his father.
Police said the father, 45, told them he was arguing with his son about 5:30 p.m., when his son attacked him.
The father was taken to Hawaii Medical Center West for treatment and the son was arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault, police said.
