Downed pole still rerouting traffic in Waimanalo area

High winds have knocked down a pole and power line on Kalaniana'ole Highway near the Waimanalo Polo Field, said HECO spokeswoman Sharon Higa.The fallen pole was reported at 6:04 a.m. At midday, police were still on the scene, turning commuters around in both directions. HECO officials were also on the scene.
