More online job ads than unemployed in December

There were more online job advertisements for open positions in Hawai'i during December than there were unemployed people, according to the latest review of Internet job ads by the Conference Board.The business research group said Hawai'i unemployed/advertised vacancy ratio was 0.77 in December. That was the lowest in the nation and compared Mississippi's rate 6.45, which was the highest in the nation.
