Maydene Simmons named sales director for The Ilikai

Maydene Simmons has been named director of sales and marketing for The Ilikai hotel.Before joining the Ilikai Simmons worked for 17 years at Starwood Hotels & Resorts, where she last served as regional director of international markets. She also has worked for the Hawai'i Visitors and Convention Bureau Sea Life Park.
"Maydene's expertise in sales and marketing and product development, as well as her extensive background in Hawai'i's tourism industry, is a strong addition to the Ilikai team," said Teri Orton, general manager of The Ilikai.
