Hawai'i has nearly 300,000 high-speed Internet lines

Advertiser Staff

There were 294,612 high-speed Internet lines in Hawai'i as of June 30, according to a Federal Communications Commission report released Wednesday. Hawai'i ranked 34th out of 50 states and the District of Columbia in terms of total high-speed Internet lines. The FCC did not disclose the number of high-speed Internet lines in Hawai'i in the prior-year period.

Hawai'i generally ranks high in surveys of Internet use, in part because of its geographic isolation.
