Event creator Danielle Scherman invites people to "celebrate the best of Kailua's food, fun and spirit at this community street festival and wellness fair as the community rallies to raise funds for family and friends affected by cancer." She said proceeds will benefit the nonprofit Castle Medical Center's Chemotherapy Unit.

The festivities include food sampling, local entertainment, a health walk, kids' corner, auction and giveaways near Baci Bistro and Assaggio's Restaurant.
