Mililani captures PONY 13-year-old state tournament

Mililani defeated Hawai'i Kai, 11-2, Sunday to capture the PONY Pony (age 13) state baseball tournament.Mililani advances to the West Zone Tournament, July 21 to 25, at Fullerton, Calif.
In other PONY state tournaments, Windward beat Maui, 7-2, in the Mustang (ages 9-10) final to earn a berth in the West Zone Tournament, July 26 to 30, at Chino Hills, Calif.; and 'Ewa/'Ewa Beach defeated KAC, 4-1, to win the Pinto (ages 7-8) championship. There is no West Zone Tournament for the Pinto division.
