ASICS Rainbows 14-year-olds win volleyball title

ASICS Rainbows, Aloha Region, defeated Long Beach 14 Elite, 25-8, 21-25, 15-9, in the title match tonight in the Girls' 14 National Tournament Gold Division at the USA Volleyball Girls' Junior Olympic Championship at Minneapolis.The Rainbows finished 9-2 in the tournament.
Team members were Katherine Brooks, Ayesha Hein, Talia Jardin, Taylor Ka'alele, Kayla Kawamura, Shannan McCready, Tasha Meyer, Kainoa Ocasek, Sarah Palmer, Kaeli Patton, Brigitte Russo and Capri Tirrell.
They were coached by Luis Ramirez and Natalie Oana-Russo.
