Hawaii AAA offers holiday 'Tipsy Tow' service

Drivers who drink too much can get a free ride home — and a free tow for their vehicles — from AAA Hawaii from 6 p.m. tomorrow through midnight Fourth of July.Bartenders, restaurant managers, would-be drivers, party hosts or anyone else can call (800) 400-4AAA for a free ride and tow up to 7 miles away from one of the automobile association's regular service trucks.
The caller only needs to say, "I need a Tipsy Tow," according to AAA.
The tow truck driver will only provide a one-way, one-time ride for the driver to get to the driver's residence.
No other passengers are allowed. Rides farther than seven miles will be charged at the normal rate.
