SummerTheatre students present 'Transformations'

Students ages 13 to 18 in the Hawai'i Theatre-sponsored SummerTheatre 2007 program culminate their work with the original theater piece "Transformations" at 7 p.m. July 13 at the Hawai'i Theatre.
Tickets are on sale now for the public performance, priced at $8 general admission (plus applicable Theatre Restoration Charge)from the HTC Box Office, 1130 Bethel St., 528-0506 or www.hawaiitheatre.com.
"Transformations" is directed by Carson Becker, Seleena Harkness and Hester Kamin, with lighting design by Carolyn Cubit-Tsutsui. The students have created their own theater pieces around the theme, during their study of playwriting and improvisation. They also have been assisted by guest artist Dark Sevier, who led workshops on writing comedy.
Students performing in "Transformations" are Seth Antonio, Blythe Brauer, Nicholas Clark, Jenifer Evans, Burch Godwin, Jacob-Grant Sedeno, Marielle Hansen, Angela Holton, Kimberly Kidani, Jay Laeno, Adriana Rapp and Asher Ward of Honolulu; Camila Harris of Kane'ohe; Kaera Jennings and Krysten Kaneshiro of Kailua; Susi Pearson of Wahiawa; Marissa Price of Ma'ili; Eliza Thompson of 'Aiea; and Ajana Lowrey from the Big Island.
