High-surf advisory continues along south-facing shores

Surf's up around the Islands as a continuing summer swell brings in waves to both the south-facing and west-facing shores, according to the National Weather Service.A high-surf advisory is still in effect for south-facing shores, with surf reaching 5 feet to 8 feet. The swell will subside later this week, and a small southeast swell should arrive Monday.
Surf along west-facing shores will be 4 feet to 6 feet.
East-facing shores will be 3 feet to 5 feet tonight, decreasing to 2 feet to 4 feet, with the smallest surf on the north shore at 2 feet or less.
