Heaven on Earth to open third Honolulu spa

Honolulu entrepreneur and businesswoman Lora Nakai — owner and operator of Heaven on Earth Salon & Day Spa — plans to open her third and largest location on Thursday in Kaka'ako.

Heaven on Earth Spa Club & Café is located at the Kaka'ako residential tower, the Ko'olani, a few blocks west of Ala Moana Shopping Center.

Nakai said the new location is expected to cater to the upscale residents of the luxury residential high-rises as part of the major urban renewal of the area between Ala Moana and Ward centers.

"Kaka'ako is quickly becoming the cool place to live, work and play for Honolulu," said Nakai. "They want the services that can be found in places like New York and Los Angeles. "

The 20,000-sq. ft. facility is designed to include bodywork treatments, including body wraps, massage or Vichy in one of nine individual treatment rooms.

The fitness center outfitted with state-of-the-art cardio equipment, studios for current yoga and Pilates practices. The Lifestyle Café offers healthy menu options, the perfect lunch or light snack after yoga or a massage.

Amenities include lavish lounge areas and private men's and women's hot tubs, sauna and steam rooms. Clients can arrive for a single service or escape for an entire day of pampering and rejuvenation.

Heaven on Earth focuses on a delivering a high quality experience, so clients recognize the value of the services that include not just massage, but hair care, manicures and pedicures, facials, waxing and body wraps.
