"From Hawaii with Aloha" on OC16, Web tomorrow

OC16 and the United States Army are joining forces to create "From Hawaii with Aloha," a first-ever live television broadcast via the Web from Hawai'i to U.S. troops abroad.

The two-hour special will air at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 4, with an encore presentation at 9 p.m.

"From Hawaii with Aloha" will also be streamed live simultaneously on www.OC16.tv" target="_blank">www.OC16.tv.

In addition to live musical performances by Cecilio & Kapono, B.E.T., Koa'uka and brand new original comedy sketches written by Da Braddahs, military families attending the live event will be given an opportunity to send live on-camera messages to their loved ones stationed abroad. The program will also include stories of families whose lives have been touched by the war.

The United States military will hold special screenings for the troops in Iraq on Wednesday, July 4 to watch the show. "From Hawaii with Aloha" will also be available at www.OC16.tv" target="_blank">www.OC16.tv to watch anytime through August 4.
