Kapiolani lanes to close for new phase of roadwork

On Sunday, crews will start a new phase of work along Kapi'olani Boulevard.One lane in each direction will be closed on Kapi'olani between Kamake'e and Kaheka streets. Construction crews will work from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday to Saturday, and from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., Sunday to Thursday.
The Kapi'olani Boulevard water and sewer line project started last year and improvements are expected to be completed in 2008. For more information on the work or for the latest traffic advisories, go to www.kapiolaniwatersewer.org.
