Rescue workers sent to boater near Pat's at Punaluu

Fire Department rescue workers are responding to a report of a boater in distress approximately one mile offshore from Pat's at Punalu'u.The Fire Department's helicopter has also been called in to help assess the situation.
The boat is said to be a white, 24-four-foot "Skipjack" model.
The call for assistance was received about 9 a.m.
