Ewa Beach murder suspect arrested in Wahiawa

A 22-year-old man wanted for questioning in the fatal stabbing of an 'Ewa Beach man was arrested tonight by Wahiawa Crime Reduction Unit officers.

Tyler Aaron Condon was arrested at 6:40 p.m. at a 7-Eleven store on Kamehameha Highway near Kilani Avenue without incident. Condon, however, was taken to a hospital for treatment of a hand injury before being booked at the main police station cellblock for attempted murder at about 10:15 p.m.

Police were looking for Condon, who was seen by witnesses driving off in a white Buick from 91-1060 Mikohu Street, where Jake Ira Hale, 28, was fatally stabbed Wednesday at 6:15 a.m.
