Agriculture complex in Hilo gets $500,000 from state

Gov. Linda Lingle today released $500,000 for additions, improvements and renovations to the University of Hawai'i at Manoa College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources' Komohana agriculture complex in Hilo.The funds will be used for upgrade laboratories, laboratory support spaces, offices, greenhouses and greenhouse support facilities.
Lingle last year released $13.2 million in renovation and improvement funds for the College of Tropical Agriculture & Human Resources.
