Hafdahl has directed KVB's sales of group meetings business for the past 10 years, traveling around the world to tradeshows, special events and sales blitzes to sell Kaua'i as a destination for corporate meetings, conventions and incentives. Before that, she spent nearly 20 years in hotel operations.

"I'm honored to be leading my colleagues in building a strong chapter through increased visibility and recognition of our activities, and inspiring members to connect more with one another at both the local and international level," Hafdahl said.
