Kauai traffic in Kapaa slowed due to brushfire

A brushfire tonight near Kapa'a Middle School on Kaua'i forced the closure of a portion of Olohena Road at 6:30 p.m.The roadway is closed from the roundabout up to the Ka'apuni Road and Kaehulua Road intersection and also at the Hauiki Road junction, according to county spokeswoman Mary Daubert.
