Brushfires reported in Wa'ahila, Manoa

Firefighters late tonight were responding to reports of brushfires on Wa'ahila Ridge above St. Louis Heights and in Manoa Valley near the University of Hawai'i.At 10:45 p.m., the Wa'ahila brushfire was reported to be not threatening any homes.
The fire department sent its Air One helicopter to the fire.
at 11:40 p.m. the fire appeared to be moving downslope on the Manoa side of the ridge, near the East-West Center on the UH campus.
