Sunset features: 'Flushed Away,' 'Night at the Museum'

Advertiser Staff

An animated film about a rat flushed down a toilet, and a nocturnal glimpse inside a museum where the displays come to life, will be the family-friendly "Sunset on the Beach" programs shown this weekend at Queen's Beach in Waikiki.

"Flushed Away," the adventure about a rat who is flushed from his penthouse digs into the sewers of London, features voices of Hugh Jackman and Kate Winslet. It shows Saturday night.

"Night at the Museum," the Ben Stiller comedy caper where critters and exhibits wreak havoc inside in the Museum of Natural History in New York, screens Sunday.

Both flicks begin about 7:30 p.m. "Sunset on the Beach" food booths are available at 4 p.m., with fare prepared by Ba-Le, K's Restaurant, Leo's Greek Taverna, M&N's Treats, Papa John Pizza, Royal Hawaiian Hot Dogs and World's Greatest Funnel Cakes.

Admission is free. (Programs are subject to change.)
