H-1 School Street on-ramp closed this weekend

The School Street on-ramp on the H-1 Freeway west-bound will be closed this weekend and next so crews can take soil samples as part of an upcoming retaining wall project.

The ramp will be shut down from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Crews will also close the right west-bound lane on the freeway from the Pali Highway off-ramp to the School Street on-ramp, and the left lane on School Street between 'A'ala Street and Kapua Lane.

Also as part of the work, the left and middle lanes of School Street from 'A'ala Street to Kapua Lane will be closed from July 9-13 and July 16-20, between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Parking will be restricted along parts of School Street to provide room for construction equipment.

Drivers are advised to allow for extra travel time or take an alternate route.
