Hot spots monitored on Waahila Ridge

HFD reports that brushfires that broke out overnight or early this morning at Mokule'ia, near the Wai'anae sewage plant and near Waipahu High School have all been extinguished.HFD Capt. Robert Main said all those fires were small.
Firefighters are monitoring hot spots on Wa'ahila Ridge where a fire near UH-Manoa burned about 50 acres Thursday night and Friday.
