Moderate winds, some mist expected for next few days

A high-pressure system to the north of the Islands will keep light to moderate trade winds blowing through the end of this week and the new week as well, according to the National Weather Service.

Showers carried by the winds will affect windward and mauka areas, while most leeward areas will remain dry, with plenty of sunshine, forecasters said.

Here's a more detailed look at the next few days:

Today, mostly sunny. Isolated showers in the morning. Highs 81 to 88. East winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Tonight, partly cloudy with isolated showers. Lows 67 to 77. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Sunday, mostly sunny. Isolated showers in the morning. Highs 81 to 88. East winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Sunday night, partly cloudy with isolated showers. Lows 67 to 76. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.
