Football: Chang comes off bench in Tiger-Cats loss

Advertiser Staff

Former Hawai'i quarterback Tim Chang came off the bench to complete 8 of 16 passes for 81 yards, but it was not nearly enough as the host Hamilton Tiger-Cats lost to the Toronto Argonauts, 30-5, in a Canadian Football League game tonight.

Chang, who also rushed twice for 16 yards, replaced struggling veteran Jason Maas (4 of 11 for 40 yards) in the second quarter and had fans excited in the third period when he guided Hamilton to the Argos' 5-yard line. But the Tiger-Cats (0-2) had to settle for a field goal that made it 22-5.
