Main fixed, but traffic contraflowed on School Street

The Board of Water Supply finished repairs to a 16-inch water main on School Street at 5:15 this morning, but 'ewa-bound traffic between Kamehameha IV Road and Hauiki Street will be contraflowed until crews finish back-filling the road.The main broke just before 2:30 p.m. yesterday and BWS crews worked through the night fixing the main.
Approximately 10 to 15 homes were left without water through the night, as well as some businesses.
