Firefighters extinguish brushfire in Waipahu

Firefighters this afternoon extinguished a small brushfire on Aniani Place, near Farrington Highway in Waipahu.Honolulu Fire Department Capt. Frank Johnson said the fire, which burned less than 1 acre, was reported shortly before midday and declared extinguished at 12:16 p.m.
