Friday deadline for Parade of Home entries in Hawaii

The deadline for developers to enter new homes in the Building Industry Association of Hawaii's annual Parade of Homes showcase is Friday.Developers and contractors may enter homes in categories including single-family homes, town homes, high-rises, senior-living units, time-share projects and apartment-to-condo conversions. About 20 projects have been entered to date statewide.
The event, a public open-house tour displaying what residential developers are building around the state, will be held Oct. 6-7 and 13-14. This year's theme is "Discover the Home of Your Dreams."
