Waikiki comfort station getting makeover

The comfort station at Queen's Surf in Waikiki is scheduled to get a makeover this week.Starting today, the City's Department of Parks and Recreation will repair and replace plumbing fixtures, paint, apply a sealant to make the facility easier to clean and do minor repairs, a news release from the city stated.
The work comes on the heels of repairs and a makeover of the Pupukea Beach Park comfort station (at Sharks Cove). Similar makeovers have been done at Ala Moana Beach Park, Poka'i Bay Beach Park, Ma'ili Beach Park and Waimanalo Beach Park.
