WAILUA
HTA paying for marina work

Advertiser Staff

The Hawai'i Tourism Authority is helping fund road and parking improvements scheduled to start this week at the Wailua Marina, within Wailua River State Park.

The state Department of Land and Natural Resources is using HTA grant funding for $362,930 in repaving and restriping of the upper marina parking lot and the service road between the marina building and the docks.

Jas. W. Glover is the contractor.

The marina will remain open during the work, but there will be delays, said land department interim chairman Allan Smith.

For information, call the Kaua'i State Parks office at 274-3444.
