Missing man believed to be in Kahuku area

A man reported missing Saturday is believed to be in the Kahuku area, police said today.

John Debkowski, 42, a construction worker who came to Hawai'i five weeks ago, was last seen at the Turtle Bay Resort. Police said he was emotionally distraught and depressed. No foul play is suspected in his disappearance, police said.

Debkowski is 5-feet-10 and 225 pounds with gray hair.
